I as of next month (2526) will be training only 4 horses. Gina and Angel are ready to do some exercising. I've started them on the finer gaits of the show ring, but I want them to be fitted up some before I start looking for the show ready status. Her Flynesse, thank you so much Hayden!, is showing well in Steeplechase. I had so much fun training her for it! She has three beginner points and seems to like the longer distances. I think if I bring her up and work with her a little more her scores will go up more. She barely jumps and barely tolerates being around other horses on the track. I may do that, see if she can't score 60s and not have too much of an understanding. I don't want to over train her!
My training string for next month is Spice, Fly, Lena, Crier, and Cash.
Gina foaled early this month and I am so excited! Grover under that Varnish is Mealy! That means I got a lovely Sorrel stud colt to start out! Not bad at all! Not nearly as nice as the two boys I had to let go last year, but a nice start. I've named the new boy Cash, hopefully he rakes it in when he starts showing!
