Vagabond Dreamer brought home her Beginner title this month! She had an impressive 17 wins against other horses! She also has hit the Top Horses list at Number 4 for her
A belated introduction to some new stock. Let's start with our now of age custom boy, Cash, he was requested out of Foreign Soquili Agisi Tsogadu and by Foreign Soquili Galiquog for strength, intelligence, agility, conformation, temperament, I was hoping for speed and stamina too but no complaints. When I filled out the foal request I also marked a preference for Seal Brown with a sprinkle of Rabicano and a dash of Sabino; well I got all of the above! Love his genetic potential in the color aspect of these rugged little ponies. This young stallion is already competing in the Advanced level English competitions. As I write this he has 9 points and has earned over ERD119,000! GroovyMoves is a new regular import. His name speaks for itself, he has fabulous movement. A terrible temperament paired with nice conformation, only the best tempered mares will be crossed with him. He's stubborn and still not wanting anything to do with any ground manners. He's also the only stallion of the bunch. The mares next, in no particular order. Class, or Classy Lady is a classic champagne with great conformation, but not much else though she is pretty agile. She does have heart, so she is bred to Denver (who also has heart) in hopes that she'll stamp her foals better than she is. Ro is like Class not a whole lot to write home about, but she is Red Dun carries flaxen and Sabino -- gotta watch out for that Frame though. Dee is an Amber Champagne with nice strength and that's about it. She's pretty agile and moves alright, but between her mutton withers, low intelligence and poor temperament... I bred her to Denver to see how she does while I wait for her to figure out the ground manners I expect, so far she's doing better than Groove. The last import to introduce is BB. BB is a stunning Brindle with -- if I breed her right -- the genetics to give me a seal brown! She doesn't have much stamina and she really doesn't care to learn but she's got a really nice temperament so she tries to please. She too is bred to Denver. Titles! With twelve horses competing it is hard to believe that I have 4 that have earned a title and moved on to the next level.
Country Lemonaide, Adi, is a homebred filly! She earned her Beginners title in Endurance in just 10 events! Her Dam, Cloudy witha chance of Lemon also earned her Beginners title in Endurance, I failed to note her events and such at the time. She is 7 points into her Novice title now. Our custom boy The Highwayman, earned his BCh in 11 events and has 9 points towards his Advanced title. I failed to mark down his Novice achievements. Country Roads has 7 points towards his Advanced title. He earned his BCh in 3 events and his Novice in 7! So proud of this regular import! Magik Dreams is a small ranch that is part of the Vintage! community. Like Magik Dream Acres many many years ago, Magik Dreams is home to Somali Ponies!
I am very very excited that I already have three Beginner Champions! I also have four in Beginner classes, only three are competing though as Draft events seem to be scarce so far. |
